LAIZE is an independent curatorial platform founded by
painter Jérémie Marié, dedicated to the dialogue between
contemporary art, fashion and textile. Rooted in Troyes —
a city with a singular textile history — LAIZE aims to bring
together international artists and students each year
around a place, a gesture, a material.
LAIZE est une plateforme curatoriale fondée par l'artiste
peintre Jérémie Marié, dédiée au dialogue entre art
contemporain, mode et textile. Ancrée à Troyes — ville à
l'histoire textile singulière — LAIZE vise à réunir chaque année
des artistes et étudiants internationaux autour d'un lieu,
d'un geste, d'une matière.

The first edition of LAIZE, "Matières en Jeu" explores
the permeable territories between textile creation,
fashion and contemporary artistic practice.
The exhibition brings together students and artist-teachers
from London College of Arts, Newlyn School of Art
and Lycée Saint-Joseph, Troyes.
Première édition de LAIZE, « Matières en Jeu » explore
les territoires perméables entre création textile,
mode et pratiques artistiques contemporaines.
L'exposition réunit des étudiants et artistes-enseignants
issus du London College of Arts, de la Newlyn School of Art
et du Lycée Saint-Joseph de Troyes.
