Tarang Bharti was born in Ludhiana, India, and lives in London. His practice explores the border between photography and textile — what he calls “expanded photography”: slow processes and a handmade large-format camera used for long exposures.

Artist-teacher for LAIZE’s Matières en Jeu exhibition, Musée Vauluisant, Troyes, 2026. Tarang Bharti est né à Ludhiana, en Inde, et vit à Londres. Sa pratique explore la frontière entre photographie et textile — ce qu’il nomme la « photographie élargie » : processus lents, caméra grand format construite à la main, longues expositions.
